Python Job: Junior Python Developer

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Python development, understand Windows and/or Linux systems, be able to problem solve independently and communicate work to the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, have context using Docker and/or EKS, and have some practical Cloud Experience (preferably Amazon Web Services).

Primary duties include:

• Creating Event Driven Architecture
• Performing all Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) Steps
• Automating processes using APIs
• Re-engineering existing IT processes

Software Requirements:

• Python (90% of code)
• Docker Container/ EKS
• CI/CD Pipeline Configuration
• API Integrations
• Version Control/Git
• Comfort with CLI commands
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) [Lambda, CFT, S3] (Preferred)
• PowerShell/Azure DevOps (Preferred)

Experience Requirements:

• 1 or more years developing in Python.
• Experience in reading, understanding, and writing proficient code.
• Experience using YAML and JSON.
• Ability to pair program within an Agile team to achieve team goals.
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
• 4-year college degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) and/or Developer (Associate) preferred.
